Hayes Nuss, CFA

Partner, Risk Management AND Analytics

Mr. Nuss directs Strategic’s portfolio risk management. In addition, he oversees the development of investment and performance analysis tools and the enhancement of Strategic’s portfolio monitoring system. Mr. Nuss also conducts research in the U.S. equity and non-U.S. equity segments. Prior to joining Strategic, he was a program manager and engineer supporting the U.S. Navy where his responsibilities included developing and analyzing computer-based simulations and numerical models. He holds a B.A. in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, an M.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Nuss is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Washington D.C. He has completed the Series 65 and 3 securities examinations.
